A set of materials that you can print to run your own in-class stranger danger campaigns.

Statistically, the chance of stranger abduction is very low (stranger assault is higher), but it's every parents' worst nightmare, and as instructors we have a responsibility to guard our students against it. Furthermore, this is very well received by the parents, increasing their support and your subsequent student retention.

This pack contains six A4 colouring-in graphics (three for boys and three for girls) depicting the three most common child abduction scenarios. In each scenario, a friendly stranger is opening a conversation with the child. In each scenario, there is an empty speech bubble where your student writes in his or her response to politely close the conversation back down, whilst they retreat to safety. A suggested universal response is included with the pack, but you can replace it with your your own if you prefer.

There are detailed instructions on how to use the materials for maximum effectiveness and memory retention.

The pack also includes reward sticker graphics, and printable certificates.

These (and permutations of them) are statistically the the three most common stranger abduction/assault scenarios.

These can be printed on standard sticker paper, and are a relatively inexpensive way to motivate students to participate in your stranger danger program. We let students wear them on their belt until they wear out, but putting them on school books is another great idea, and can be a possible talking point to attract new students.

It also shows a recap of the stranger escape policy: shout, hurt them, run away.
